The dating scene can be difficult enough under normal circumstances, but things are very tough for straight men in Seattle these days — and Amazon’s growth is contributing to the problem.

But their final rankings order apparently comes down simply to the overall number of single men in the city limits.
While neither city is particularly formal, Portland has a slightly more laid-back vibe than Seattle.
For some undefined reason, Portland feels a bit friendlier than Seattle, too.
Portland, the site tells us, has 100,460 single men.
Milwaukee, one ahead of the Rose City at number eleven, has 101,368, and Baltimore, at number 10, has 101,968.
While there is some shared Northwest flavor between the two, there are also plenty of differences that make these two rainy metropolises unique from one another.
